this year\u2019s inspections of nearly 8,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/cake.dbo-dev.com\/en\/septic-systems-ontario-canada\/\">septic systems.<\/a><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>In 2021, then, <strong>99.1% of the septic systems inspected were found to have a normal water level<\/strong>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This means that, when DBO Expert inspectors visited the site, the three key factors to the proper functioning of their septic system were all present; that is, <a href=\"https:\/\/cake.dbo-dev.com\/en\/dboclic-ventilation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aeration<\/a>, retention time within the pipes and the percolation rate in the sand.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fcf63b8 elementor-widget We must make sure to only introduce appropriate non-hazardous elements to system, to protect the microorganisms that are responsible for treating the water.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>A septic system is also designed for a specific daily flow. Avoid excessive water use or large water discharge from a sump pump, pool or any other equipment generating a significant volume of water that was unintended when the system was sized.
